Works great at 50 yards or less to see holes in targets around 8" diameter.Small so you do not have to lug around that big ole heavy spotting scope for a quick trip to the range.
I hope this reveiw was helpful is a reasonable distance. this monoscope is reasonable for the price of under $15 when i first used it for spying on my tricky neighbors i found it worked reasonably well at a long distance. If you plan on using it for examining thing such as flowers, grass whatever but don't get to close; around 15-17in.
I bought a pair of these for my kids to use outdoors but found that I can use them as well given their good range and clarity. Simple, functional and great optics for the price. It comes with a handy nylon case as well that offers good protection.
Sooner or later I will drop this thing. Without question it focus's better than the Barskas. I've had the product for a month but am waiting to see if it breaks when I drop it. Had 2 Barska monoculars and they broke very readily on dropping so I'm trying this one to see if it's more durable.
If you want a wider angle dont buy this product. This particular model focuses in very tight with a small feild of vision. For my job its great, But, most people wish to have a wider angle. I have used mine for over 4 years now. If your looking for something that will focus close and tight on an object this is great. I read electric meters for a living. I work outside everyday rain or shine. My Tasco 10x25 is great for this job.
